
Offerings
 Classes are offered on a series basis in order to build upon skills and learinings. Students are never forced into any position or made to participate in yoga. While having fun, kids unconsciously discipline themselves in areas of strength, balance and concentration. Over time, these techniques are consciously applied in everyday life. All classes include movement, activities, and music and are composed in the following rhythm: warm-up, action/play, winding down and relaxation. Classes are conducted in schools throughout the Peninsula, in private homes in the Atherton, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Los Altos and Mountain View areas as well as in local studios, and community centers. Mommy and Me Ages 2-3.5yrsYoung children accompanied by a parent or caregiver learn the foundation of yoga in a fun and playful way. Using animal yoga poses, songs, stories, and games, toddler yoga helps build body awareness, self-esteem, and self-control. Parents gain tips on how to use Yoga techniques to help their energy-filled toddlers both direct their limitless energy as well as learn to calm themselves in a fun and healthy way. (30-minute classes) Pre-school YogaCombining yoga poses with stories, games and songs, preschoolers learn to use their own imaginations and flexibility to gain basic yoga skills, increase self-esteem, build body awareness and learn relaxation techniques. (45-minute classes) Yoga for KidsThese fun and engaging classes explore yoga poses, cooperative games, breathing and relaxation exercises. Lessons in self-expression, body-awareness, and social skills are also conveyed. Non-competitive and fun, these classes help students develop strength, flexibility, concentration and confidence. Yoga for Tweens These fun and non-competitive classes teach yoga poses, cooperative games, breathing and relaxation
exercises all within the context of themes derived from yoga principles (i.e.,mindfulness, acceptance, cooperation, trust, confidence, patience, balance). Children gain confidence, self-awareness and concentration skills, along with strength and flexibility within a safe, fun and cooperative environment. (45-minute

Family Yoga Share an afternoon of joyful Family Yoga. Through fun partner poses, creative breathing exercises and simple relaxation techniques, parents, caregivers and children create the roots for a longtime practice together. (30,45 and 60-minute classes) ***Recommended for ages 2-10 years old
Adult Yoga 101- The Basics NEW!!!!! Custom created for adults who would love to try out yoga but are not comfortable going to a traditional yoga studio for classes. Along with other newcomers, you will learn the poses, concepts and proper body alignment while challenging yourself at your own level and gaining from the many benefits of yoga! (60 minute classes)
Birthday Parties Add a 45 minute stretch.play.yoga class to your child's next birthday party either at your home or at another location of your interest! Yoga birthday parties are a fun and healthy way to celebrate! Parties can be created according to a theme (i.e. animals, trains, beach) with activities and props selected accordingly. We provide clean yoga mats, music and all necessary props. Kids' yoga mat party favors can be provided for an additional fee. Both standard and eco-friendly mats are available.
Fees: 45 minute Birthday stretch.play.yoga class = $200 (for up to 10 children) $10 for each additional child (maximum of 15 children)
To properly staff your party, please confirm the exact number of guests 7 days in advance. Please note, you are responsible for the final number of participants. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required with the balance due the day of the party.
Playdates For a fun and healthy playdate idea, have stretch.play.yoga come to your next playgroup. We can either do Mommy and Me playdates (beginning at age 2) or conduct a class for kids only (ages 3.5 and up).
Private Individual Yoga We conduct one on one private yoga lessons in your home for children who may need yoga as an adjunct to their current occupational and physical therapy programs. stretch.play.yoga has instructors who specialize in working with children with sensory issues, attention difficulties and who have been identified as being on the spectrum.
Girl Scout Yoga Workshops stretch.play.yoga will come show your Girl Scout troop how use yoga to build strength, flexibility and balance, as well as trust, cooperation and respect. We will also work on self-soothing, mindfulness and relaxation tequiniques while having fun! It's a great way to have your scouts earn a badge!
After School Programs Contact us to learn about having stretch.play.yoga bring the benefits of yoga to the students at your school. We offer these classes for children ages 2-12.
